The state’s oldest citrus trade association held its 81st annual meeting last week in Vero Beach and discussed pressing current issues. Among those, addressed in these reports by Indian River Citrus League Executive Vice President Doug Bournique, were attempts to get the European Union to accept a reasonable canker protocol for Florida citrus, water management and good agricultural practices.
