The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Division of Plant Industry has renamed the auditorium in its Winter Haven office the Jim Heidegger Auditorium, after the late chief of the Bureau of Pest Eradication and Control. Heidegger had also worked years in marketing for the Florida Department of Citrus.
