Resource Conservation and Development Week in Alabama kicks off this Sunday, September 20th and Johnny Flowers, President of the Alabama Association of RC&D Councils, says that the councils are made up of volunteers who work in partnership with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service.

NRCS Estimates CSP Payment Ranges

Estimates of dollars per acre the Natural Resources Conservation Service might issue annually to those who participate in the new Conservation Stewardship Program have been put out by USDA. NRCS Celebrates AL Soil and Water Conservation Week

Alabama will celebrate Soil and Water Conservation Week September 14-19, 2009. Frank Nalty, Chairman of the Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Committee, says that the volunteers work closely with Alabama NRCS. FL NRCS Projects Result in a Multitude of Benefits

The City of Palm Beach Gardens is one of the many communities that have received a multitude of benefits through a FL Natural Resources Conservation Service project. Todd Engle, Director of Construction for the city, says work to stabilize a canal has helped more than just the environment.
