Jim Ewing, southern regional director for USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), says the service has started its planting intentions survey to see what farmers plan to plant this spring. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) was the topic of discussion yesterday during a national media call with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall.
