FROM THE NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA: Gov. Rick Scott and the Florida Cabinet are expected Tuesday to consider spending $4.21 million to help conserve more than 8,000 acres of land in Dixie County. Under the proposal, the state would buy what is known as a “conservation easement” from Lyme Cross City Forest Company LLC on 8,138 acres. A recommendation from
