Cotton Planting Estimates Up from Last Year

Becky Sommer with the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service reports the initial cotton planting estimates for this year. Growers intend to plant 12.2 million acres of all cotton across the United States, which is up 9 percent from the previous year.
