According to a new report, corn growers were responsible for a $151 billion boost to the U.S. economy last year.  The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) notes the report looks at various ways corn growers contributed to the economy. Corn Acreage Down, Soybean and Cotton Acres Up

According to new estimates from the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), farmers this year planted 91.5 million acres of corn in the U.S., down 3% from last year.
