Alabama Farmers to Plant Less Cotton, More Peanuts
From the Alabama Farmers Federation: MONTGOMERY, Ala., March 31— Alabama farmers expect to plant fewer acres of cotton and corn and devote more land to peanuts, according to the Prospective Plantings Report released today by the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). Drop in March USDA Citrus Crop Forecast Due to Utilization
Mark Hudson, of the U.S. Department of Agriculture/National Agricultural Statistics Service in Washington, D.C., released the March citrus crop forecast numbers with a drop recorded due to utilization.
