USDA Offers Longleaf Pine Incentives

Longleaf pine forests provide numerous environmental benefits including wildlife habitat, but pine stands have been steadily declining. USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama is offering landowners some financial benefits to help increase those stands with a new continuous enrollment category for longleaf pine under the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP).
