Well, if you’re planning next weekend, you want to make plans to go to Blakely, Georgia.
Blakely will be having the Peanut Proud Festival. They’ve got teams working together from Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. The big day is around the Courthouse Square in Blakely starting at 9 a.m. The Peanut Proud store will be open that day.
They said they’ll have a parade starting with a 5k run, but also they got a 5k fun walk. Vendors will be on hand after the 5k run, and there will be a parade about 10 30. There’s a kids zone for the day as well, and they will have grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for anyone that comes there all free.
Friday night entertainment will start at 7 p.m. Brian Free and Assurance will be playing from the stage at the Mangum Auditorium. Coming up at 12 30 on Saturday, it’ll have Gage Cowart, and then at 1 45, Eminem Madden Met Cal.
That’ll be a 1 45 Saturday at the Blakely Peanut Festival, and then at 3 30, the Castellos will be playing at the Peanut Proud Festival. Don’t forget it next Saturday, March the 28th at Blakely, Georgia, the annual Peanut Proud Festival.
