Today is National Agriculture Day. Those of us tied to agriculture, food production, or distribution in any way, every day is Agriculture Day.
But great that we do set aside one day a year, always in March, to honor and highlight the men and women who have made agriculture, food production, and distribution their careers. Though as someone did say long ago, “if you eat, you’re involved in agriculture.” The theme this year, Together We Grow.
And with a dwindling number of people directly tied to farms and ranches across the country, we do need to work together, tell our story, continuing to connect urban and rural America. So, happy National Agriculture Day.
