At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended-January 30, 2026, receipts at 16 markets totaled 1,372 head compared to 8,497 last week and 11,490 last year.  Compared to last week: In limited sales, slaughter cattle sold sharply higher.  Feeder cattle sold 1.00 to 10.00 higher.  Trade moderate to active with good demand on feeder cattle.  Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.  Year-to-date receipts totaled 32,197 compared to 32,702 last year.
