The Georgia Beef Board has announced a new partnership with the Dairy Alliance, marking a collaborative effort to strengthen messaging and outreach across the beef and dairy sectors. The announcement was shared following a recent dairy conference in Savannah, where leaders highlighted the shared values and goals of both industries.
Wyatt Doolittle with the Georgia Beef Board shared details on the new collaboration and the vision behind the partnership.
“We’re really excited to share some great news coming out of the dairy conference down in Savannah. The Georgia Beef Board is proud to announce a new partnership with the Dairy Alliance and this collaboration is all about telling a stronger, united story for our farmers and for the families that we serve.”
While beef and dairy operate as distinct sectors, Doolittle emphasized the common ground that connects them—cattle care, land stewardship, and providing nutritious food for consumers.
“Beef and dairy may be different sectors, but at the end of the day, we’re all raising cattle, caring for the land, and working towards the same goal, providing safe, nutritious, high-quality protein to consumers.”
Through this partnership, both organizations aim to broaden their educational reach and strengthen public understanding of modern agriculture.
“By working together, we’ll be able to expand our educational efforts, strengthen outreach, and highlight the real people behind the food on America’s stables.”
The collaboration also allows for greater efficiency and consistency in sharing information on key issues important to today’s consumers.
“The partnership allows us to combine resources, share research, and amplify messages around animal care, sustainability, and nutrition, all while keeping farmers and ranchers at the center of every conversation.”
In addition to announcing the partnership, Doolittle took time to recognize the dedication of Georgia cattle producers following one of the most significant winter storms the Southeast has experienced in recent memory.
“And, as the Southeast has just experienced one of the most significant winter storms in recent memory, we want to recognize the cattle producers who didn’t get a snow day. While roads were iced over and temperatures dropped, you were out checking cattle, breaking ice, hauling feed, and making sure animals stayed safe and cared for.”
He concluded with a message of appreciation for producers’ resilience and commitment.
“So thank you for the long nights, busting those frozen water troughs, and bearing the unpredictable conditions to continue providing a wholesome, high-quality beef for our Georgians.”
The new partnership between the Georgia Beef Board and the Dairy Alliance reflects a unified approach to supporting farmers, educating consumers, and strengthening trust in American agriculture.
