Cattle Con 2026 is set to take place in Nashville from February 3rd to 5th, and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is encouraging anyone involved in the cattle industry to attend. The event promises a mix of education, networking, and industry updates, designed for producers of all operation sizes.
Kristin Torres with NCBA shared insight into what attendees can expect. She said, “For anybody that’s in the beef cattle industry, if you want to know what’s happening in Washington, D.C., if you want to know what NCBA is doing for you, or you want to find out the latest and greatest products and services for the beef cattle industry, this is the place for you.”
Torres emphasized that Cattle Con is inclusive for all types of producers. “And it’s not just for folks that have a huge operation. It’s for all different sizes. It’s for anyone in the beef cattle industry. Everything’s included for everyone.”
One of the highlights of Cattle Con 2026 is the revamped educational programming. Formerly a separate ticketed item, Cattlemen’s College now features 25 breakout sessions and a general session designed to deliver cutting-edge, practical education. Torres explained, “We rearrange those as well so they’re kind of spread out throughout the week. That way, if somebody can only make it for one day, or maybe you can make it for two days, you’re still having an opportunity to participate in that education and participate in all the networking opportunities, those big general sessions, as well as the sold-out trade show.”
Recognizing the challenges producers face with daily operations, NCBA worked to make the event accessible for everyone. Torres said, “Everybody’s very busy. It’s hard to get away from your operation. You’re dealing with weather and animals and labor and all of that, and we really wanted to make it more accessible for everyone.”
Registration is flexible, with online sign-ups available at convention.ncba.org. Torres noted, “At any point in time, folks can jump onto the website and register. Again, it’s convention.ncba.org. Or if somebody’s waiting till the last minute and you need to see if you can get away from your operation for the day, you can show up there on site. We’ll have registration there available as well.”
Cattle Con 2026 offers an opportunity for cattle industry professionals to stay informed on policy, discover new products and services, and connect with peers, making it an essential event for anyone involved in beef cattle production.
