Georgia Peanut Farm Show Set for January 15 in Tifton, Georgia

Farmers across the Southeast are encouraged to make plans now to attend the Georgia Peanut Farm Show, coming up this week in Tifton, Georgia. The annual event will be held at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Comfort Center and offers a full day of education, networking, and industry insight tailored specifically for peanut producers.
The show will take place on Thursday, January 15, opening at 8:00 a.m. and running until 2:30 p.m. During that time, farmers will have the opportunity to visit with more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest peanut-related products, services, and research. Exhibitors from across the industry will be on hand to discuss new technologies, inputs, equipment, and services designed to help producers remain competitive and efficient.
A key highlight of the Georgia Peanut Farm Show is its strong educational focus. The University of Georgia Peanut Team will present a special educational program from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. centered on remaining profitable in peanuts in 2026. This session will provide timely research updates and management strategies aimed at helping growers navigate rising input costs and market challenges.
In addition, the Industry Seed Seminar will be held from 10:35 to 11:35 a.m. This seminar is sponsored by the American Peanut Shellers Association and the Southeast Peanut Farmers Federation and will focus on seed-related topics important to maintaining yield potential and crop quality.
Attendees will also be treated to a free luncheon at noon, providing another opportunity to visit with fellow producers and industry representatives. At approximately 12:15 p.m., peanut farmers in attendance will gather for a short program that will include the presentation of awards recognizing contributions and achievements within the peanut industry.
One of the most anticipated aspects of the show is the prize giveaway. This year, there will be over $50,000 worth of peanut prizes awarded to farmers in attendance, making the event both informative and rewarding.
The Georgia Peanut Farm Show continues to be a must-attend event for peanut growers, offering education, innovation, and community all in one location. Farmers are invited to come to Tifton, learn from industry experts, explore new opportunities, and start the year informed and connected.
