Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Kicks Off 2026 Membership Mailing

Alabama Cattlemen’s Association

Membership is the lifeblood of any cattlemen’s association, and the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) is starting the new year by highlighting its first membership mailing for 2026. The mailing is now circulating, and ACA leaders want producers across the state to know what to expect—and why renewing membership is so important.

We caught up with Erin Beasley with the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, who emphasized the grassroots nature of the organization and the role membership plays in supporting Alabama’s cattle industry. As Beasley explained, “Well, with ACA being a grassroots organization, membership is key to what we do and so we want to make sure that all the producers out there know that membership notices and renewals are out and circulating in the mail.”

The mailing officially covers the 2026 membership year, and members may notice a few changes from previous years. According to Beasley, “You will notice on that this year, it looks a little different than what we’ve done in years past. So it will have a membership card on there that you can tear off.” This new, easy tear-off card is designed to be convenient and portable for members.

Not every member will receive the same materials. Beasley noted, “If you get a notice that just has a letter and a card, you’re good to go. That means you’re one of our lifetime members or one of our three-year members.” For annual members, the mailing will include a remittance statement to complete the renewal process.

ACA is encouraging members to renew promptly to ensure uninterrupted benefits. “We encourage you to go ahead and renew your membership and that way you’re good for 2026 to keep receiving all of the wonderful benefits that come along with an ACA membership, including the full year of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Magazine.” The magazine remains one of the most valued benefits, delivering industry news, research updates, and producer-focused content year-round.

Beasley also reminded members that this mailing represents the association’s first outreach of the year. “So we want to make sure that members know that that is out in circulation, that that is our first mail-out of the year.” She added that members should keep their new card handy, saying, “Make sure to grab that membership card, stick it in your wallet. It’s a very easy little tear-off and that will have your membership number on it and get you all of those great benefits for the upcoming year.”

With the 2026 membership year underway, the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association continues to rely on strong member participation to advocate for producers and support the state’s cattle industry.
