As we approach the turn of the calendar to 2026, the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) is encouraging cattle producers across the state to finalize their plans and complete registration for the upcoming 2026 ACA Convention and Trade Show. The annual event is a cornerstone gathering for Alabama’s beef industry, bringing together producers, industry partners, and leaders for education, networking, and advocacy.
We caught up with Erin Beasley with the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association to learn more about what attendees can expect and why now is the time to register.
“Well, happy new year to all of our listeners out there.
We want to go ahead and remind you now is the time to get registered for the ACA convention and trade show taking place March 6th and 7th in Mobile, Alabama. This year’s event is going to be highlighted by a lot of great speakers for our general sessions, excellent networking opportunities, and a very, very large trade show. So now is the time to get registered.”
The 2026 ACA Convention will take place March 6–7 at the Mobile Convention Center, with the host hotel located at the Riverview Renaissance. The connected venue makes it convenient for attendees to move between meetings, trade show activities, and networking events throughout the two-day conference.
Beasley also noted that producers still have time to take advantage of cost savings and lodging options.
“You can still take advantage of early bird pricing, and there are still rooms available on the hotel block, which will be at the Riverview Renaissance, which is connected to the Mobile Convention Center.”
In addition to educational sessions and a large trade show showcasing the latest products and services for cattle operations, the convention will feature one of ACA’s most anticipated events.
“We especially want to highlight that our large event on Friday night is our annual Buckles and Bids event that will feature the Beef PAC Auction, where we will have a lot of great live auction items and opportunities for everyone to participate in that and make contributions to the Alabama Beef PAC.”
The Buckles and Bids event plays a vital role in supporting the Alabama Beef PAC, helping strengthen advocacy efforts for the state’s cattle producers.
The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association encourages producers to register early, secure hotel accommodations, and make plans to attend what promises to be an engaging and valuable start to 2026 for Alabama’s beef industry.
