The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) is closing out another successful membership year, and the organization is expressing deep gratitude for the cattle producers, county leaders, and sponsors who helped push membership above 10,000 members once again. According to Erin Beasley, this year marks the sixth consecutive year the ACA has topped the 10,000-member milestone—an achievement that underscores the strong grassroots support found across the state’s 67 county cattlemen’s chapters.

As Beasley highlighted, the dedication of local county chapters is what allows the ACA to maintain its status as one of the top three largest state cattlemen’s associations in the nation. Their hard work ensures that Alabama cattle producers have a strong, unified voice advocating for their interests at both the state and national levels. The ongoing commitment of members strengthens the association’s effectiveness in policy, education, and industry support.

This year’s membership drive is also powered by generous industry sponsors who help motivate both new sign-ups and ongoing recruitment. Momentum Ag sponsors the iconic red coats awarded to county presidents, recognizing their leadership on the local level. Additional support comes from Preford Ranch Equipment and Hartford Veterinary Supply, who provide major prizes such as a Preford squeeze chute, head gate, and panels—awarded to top hands and high-performing county chapters.

A highlight of the annual recruitment effort is the New Member Recruitment Prize, a TX Gator provided by John Deere, SunSouth, and Trigreen. These incentives not only reward members for promoting the association but also reflect the strong belief sponsors have in the ACA’s mission and impact.

Beasley emphasized that the ACA is sincerely thankful for every county president, county leader, and volunteer recruiter who puts in the effort year after year. Their commitment is what allows the organization to remain one of the largest and most influential state cattlemen’s associations in the country.

As the membership year officially closes at the end of December, the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association celebrates another year of growth, community engagement, and industry leadership—made possible by the people who proudly represent Alabama’s cattle industry.
