The Florida Beef Council is celebrating a highly successful run in this year’s Southeastern States Digital Campaign, partnering with other state beef councils to deliver the beef message directly to consumers throughout the summer. We caught up with Deanne Maples from the Florida Beef Council for more details.

“So it’s the Southeastern States Digital Campaign. And I wanna start by thanking our state beef council partners from Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Iowa, and then all those across the Southeast region for helping make this year’s digital campaign such a success. These partnerships are so important to keeping beef top of mind and inspiring people to fire up the grill all summer long.”

The campaign ran from June 9 through August 31, utilizing modern platforms that reach consumers where they already spend their time—online and on the go.

“Our campaign ran from June 9th through August 31st. And the goal is really simple, always the same, reach people where they’re spending their time. And in this case, it’s streaming television and listening to their favorite playlists.”

Beef messaging was featured on connected TV platforms like Disney Plus, including placements during sporting events, and was also pushed to music lovers on platforms like Pandora, Spotify, and SoundCloud.

“We ran Beef It’s What’s for Dinner ads on connected TV. Those are things like Disney Plus. And of course, even during some sporting events as well. And then on the audio side of it, we’re reaching those music fans who are listening to their Pandora apps, their Spotify, SoundCloud, things like that.”

The campaign didn’t just reach people—it made an impact.

“And so I’m happy to tell you that it worked. The summer campaign delivered more than 3.9 million impressions, 1.5 million video views, and more than 2.3 million audio listens. So, you know, that’s a ton of people seeing and hearing the beef message.”

With strong results and strengthened partnerships, the Florida Beef Council continues to lead the charge in keeping beef front and center in consumers’ minds.
