The next day, another key gathering for Florida peanut farmers is scheduled.

Then, on August 15, Alabama row crop producers will gather for an important event highlighting research and best practices in the field.
“August 15th will be the Alabama Row Crop Field Day. That will be at the Wiregrass Research and Education Center in Hedland, Alabama. That is on August 15th.”
Beyond field tours and demonstrations, this week also brings major news for the peanut industry. Several important agriculture announcements are scheduled from federal and industry organizations.
“Some big announcements coming up for the industry this week. First of all, the announcement on planted acres will be made by Ag Statistics Service in Washington. That will be announced at noon on Tuesday the 12th.”
Also making headlines is a branding refresh for the National Peanut Board.
“The National Peanut Board is unveiling a new logo and a new live stream announcement on the new industry logo for peanuts, along with a tagline and a campaign. That is on Wednesday. You can get it on virtual, but that’ll be coming up Wednesday starting at one o’clock.”
