At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended June 20, 2025, receipts at 16 markets totaled 9,235 head compared to 10,520 last week and 9,781 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cattle sold steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers and feeder bulls sold unevenly steady, feeder heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 220,072 compared to 236,801 last year.
