They’ve been tracking brands and how the population utilizes peanuts. 64 percent of the millennials and 57 percent of Gen Z believe peanuts are more sustainable compared to other protein sources, such as tree nuts, meats, eggs, and dairy, up from 57 percent to from 52 percent. The brand tracking study also shows a promising horizon for Gen Z that’s between the ages of 19 and 28.

This lack of variety of ways consume peanuts and peanut butter compared to the general population.

The Gen Z’s, for example, like to eat peanut products as part of a trail mix, a candy, and a candy bar, and protein bar, and in dessert smoothies and sauces are dips.

The Gen Z population also frequently report enjoying peanut butter with the fruits or vegetables or as an ingredient in a main dish, even smoothies. So we like that Gen Z population. They’re going to eat more peanuts in the future.
