Peanut farmers invest each year on a checkoff program to promote peanuts around the world. In the USA, the National Peanut Board is officially the sponsor of the program, and they just checked off a new program called the 2025 Health Nut Club.

It’s a campaign which was held in April and May on the campus peanut days. One was at the University of Georgia, another was at the University of Massachusetts, designed to engage Gen Z, that’s the age group, through food, wellness, and interactive experiences. The event showcased the versatility and the nutritional power of peanuts, which is fun and flavorful, and do it in a lot of fun ways.

The message was clear, take a crack at wellness by joining the new Health Nut Club, and learn from your Health Nut creators and influencers how to integrate peanuts into your on-the-go lifestyle. Well, they did it at the University of Georgia. The team teamed up with the culinary and nutritional teams to host a lively year-end food bash at the Village Dining Commons in the University of Georgia.

Students enjoyed flavorful peanut smoothies, sauces, and desserts while winning custom UGA fuel boxes filled with innovative products from 10 major brands.
