The calendar has turned to October which means the Sunbelt Ag Expo is just around the corner. The three-day event is scheduled for Oct. 17-19 in Moultrie, Georgia.

One of those exhibitors that will be in attendance is the Georgia Cotton Commission (GCC). Taylor Sills, executive director of the GCC, invites attendees to come by and say hello during one of the three days.

“Anyone that’s interested and will be at the Sunbelt Expo, we will have our tent. It’ll be ourselves from the Cotton Commission, our friends from the Cotton Board who administer the cotton research and promotion program and work very closely with Cotton Incorporated, we’re going to be there,” Sills said.

“Our exhibit area will be next to John Deere on the south side of the main area of the Sunbelt Expo. If you’ve got any questions about the cotton industry or if you’re a producer and want to come by and tell us how your crop is going, we’ll be there throughout the Expo and wishing all of our competitors at the Sunbelt farmer of the year competition well. We’re just really excited about this every year tradition that we have here in the state and across the Southeast.”
