The U.S. House Committee on Agriculture has announced they will host a Farm Bill Listening Session in Newberry, Florida on Monday, April 24th. Tyron Spearman has more details.
Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture, Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15), will host a Farm Bill listening session in Newberry, Florida on Monday, April 24th. He will be joined by Rep. Kat Cammack (FL-03), Rep. Austin Scott (GA-08), Rep. Darren Soto (FL-09), Rep. John Duarte (CA-13) and possibly other bipartisan members of the House Committee on Agriculture.
The event is designed to bring together farmers, ranchers, producers, agribusiness owners, and more to solicit public feedback concerning the Farm Bill.
It will be held April 24 at 2:00 PM ET at the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension Office, Rooms A, B, and C, at 22712 W. Newberry Road, Newberry, Florida 32669.
