The 2022 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) recently took place in Atlanta, Georgia, an event where the global poultry industry gathered to learn more about issued and products for the industry. The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) team was one of those at the event, as they explained to attendees the nutritional and quality advantages of U.S. Soy for poultry production.

Senior Director of U.S. Soy International Marketing Programs, Karey Claghorn, first explains exactly who the USSEC is and what they do.

Claghorn explained to Southeast AgNet’s Randall Weiseman how they are promoting the value and benefits of soybeans and soybean meal grown in the U.S. to support the growing international demand for poultry products.

While at the IPPE, the USSEC team hosted a TECHTalk focusing on “Supply Chain Environmental Footprinting: The Roadmap to Improving Sustainability Performance”. The session showcased the environmental footprint of soy from different origins looking at land-use change.
