Like many other agricultural events, the Commodity Classic this year will be virtual. Due to the restrictions brought on by COVID-19, America’s largest farmer-led, farmer-focused agricultural and educational experience will be available to farms across the country in a digital format March 2-5, 2021.

And a part of this year’s event tackles stress on the farm. The COVID-19 outbreak and resulting economic hardships have added to many farmers’ and ranchers’ stress. So the American Soybean Association (ASA) and Farm Credit will be offering a Learning Session opportunity designed to help farmers recognize and respond to signs of chronic stress in themselves and others.

The Mending the Stress Fence Learning Center Session will be held Friday, March 5, 8:00 am – 9:00 am Central. It will be beneficial for those experiencing stress or those who live or work with those who may be experiencing stress. Participants will not be identified unless they voluntarily share their names in the Q&A chat feature. This will be a safe place to share personal stories and hear from others with like experiences.
