Back in early March, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) had two representatives in the United Kingdom to help improve access for U.S. beef in the U.K. One of those on that trip was NCBA Director of International Trade and Market Access, Kent Bacus, who said then the trip was for them to educate the decision makers in the U.K. The second round of trade talks between the U.S. and the U. K. are underway this week, and Bacus says there has been a mutual goal to try and expedite a trade agreement.
