Last week, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence made a stop in California’s San Joaquin Valley to highlight the benefits of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). He urged the ag industry to encourage their representatives to ratify the agreement.
Hundreds gathered to hear several guest speakers discuss the impact the replacement for the North American Free Trade Agreement would have on their operations. In attendance was Jeff Johnson, U.S. Meat Export Federation member and vice president of Harris Beef Export Division. He said we need USMCA to pass as soon as possible.
