Peanut Crop Condition Improves
In Alabama, the cotton crop condition is rated only 1 percent poor to very poor, 17 percent fair, 62 percent good and 20 percent excellent. In Florida, the cotton crop condition is rated 3 percent poor to very poor, 31 percent fair, 65 percent good and only 1 percent excellent. In Georgia, the cotton crop condition is rated 8 percent poor to very poor, 24 percent fair, 56 percent good and 12 percent excellent.
In Alabama, the peanut crop condition is rated only 2 percent poor to very poor, 24 percent fair, 67 percent good and 7 percent excellent. In Florida, the peanut crop condition is rated 1 percent poor to very poor, 12 percent fair, 70 percent good and 17 percent excellent. In Georgia, the peanut crop condition is rated 5 percent poor to very poor, 22 percent fair, 60 percent good and 13 percent excellent.
