The U.S. House voted Wednesday afternoon to send the 2018 Farm Bill (H.R. 2) to conference committee. After passing their individual versions of the bill, conferees have to be chosen from both the House and Senate to iron out the differences between the two bills. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Mike Conaway says this is just the next step.
