Everett Griner talks about wild hog eradication in today’s Agri View. Everett discusses what the Farm Bureau groups are doing to help with the feral hog problem.
Wild Hog Eradication Efforts
I keep talking about this wild hog problem because, well, it keeps growing. Nothing tried, up until now, have been very effective. That only makes state, and federal, official work harder.
It should be noted that Farm Bureau groups, in many areas, are now involved in efforts to help people out. I said people because now these creatures are showing up in places other than on farms and forest land. One thing these Farm Bureau units are doing is devising new trapping methods, and plans. And, holding meetings with farmers to show them how to best operate them.
So far trapping has been the most effective method used. Organizations, like Farm Bureau, is continuously trying to improve, and update, their catching system.
Nobody is giving up. The hunt goes on.
That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner…
