The first edition was published in 1792 — the Old Farmer’s Almanac I mean. This year’s publication is the 225th with no interruption. Not one of the biggest selling publications, but its readers are one of the most dedicated groups to any publication. It covers a wide spectrum of information, not just farming. It is full of information on everything — from home spun wisdom, to gardening, home remedies, astronomy, and cooking. A little bit about almost any subject you can think of.
