There’s been a lot of discussion the past few weeks about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and efforts to get it passed through Congress during the upcoming lame duck session. Of course it’s also been a topic of discussion by both presidential candidates, on the campaign trail. During last week’s U.S. Meat Export Federation’s (USMEF) annual strategic planning conference, USMEF President and CEO Philip Seng said getting TPP done sooner than later is the best option for us.
