The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote Wednesday on ending debate on the GMO labeling bill. The bill needs 60 votes for approval to end debate and head for final passage, before moving to the House of Representatives. Many agriculture groups are urging farmers to contact their senators and ask for their support of the Roberts-Stabenow agreement on GMO labeling. Reece Langley, vice president of Washington operations for the National Cotton Council, explains how the agreement could affect the U.S. cotton industry.
