The National Cotton Council (NCC) is encouraging Agriculture Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to utilize a provision in the 2014 farm bill to establish a support program to assist cotton growers. Richey Seaton, executive director of the Georgia Cotton Commission, says they are hoping for a program for cotton seed.
