Issues Facing the Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Industry

James MilesThe Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association held their fall conference and tradeshow last week. During the networking sessions, growers sat down and discussed some of the issues facing the produce industry in Alabama. We talked with James Miles, an Alabama regional extension agent for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, who says the number one issue facing all horticulture crops is labor.
