Citrus Growers Meet HLB Initiative Leader

Mary Palm, leader of the recently appointed U.S. Department of Agriculture initiative to combat HLB, told growers and others Thursday how her group will work for short-term HLB solutions. She and Florida Congressmen Tom Rooney and Dennis Ross held a briefing at Florida Citrus Mutual headquarters in Lakeland. In this report, Palm discusses the initiative’s role in finding HLB solutions and says she fully understands the industry’s urgent need for solutions.
