Highest Fruit Drop Since 1960-’61 Projected in Citrus

The December USDA citrus crop forecast was delivered this morning by Jim Ewing of the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Florida non-Valencia orange projection dropped 2 million boxes to 56 million and Valencia has a projection of 65 million, dropping 4 million boxes this month. Listen to the complete report.
