Polk County citrus growers Jim Ellis and Vic Story were among more than 50 attending a recent meeting in Lake Alfred about the new Fast Track evaluation program for new fresh citrus selections. They tell why they’ll try some or all of the new selections under the program intended to get new varieties into production more quickly than was possible in the past.
