Florida All Oranges Drop Another 600 Thousand Boxes

Due to technical difficulty with USDA conference line, the final citrus crop forecast was not carried live as planned. Here are the numbers to wrap up this season.

The final Florida all orange forecast for this season released today by the USDA Agricultural Statistics Board is lowered to 133.4 million boxes. The total is comprised of 67.1 million boxes of non-Valencia oranges (early, mid-season, Navel, and Temple varieties), up 100,000 boxes from last month, and 66.3 million boxes of Valencia oranges, down 700,000 boxes from last month. The forecast of all Florida grapefruit production remains at 18.4 million boxes.
