Citrus Crop Forecast Released for 2012-2013 Season
Candi Erick, Citrus Statistics Administrator for USDA Ag Statistics Service, presented the citrus crop forecast numbers during Southeast AgNet’s live broadcast this morning. The forecast indicates a 5% increase from last season for Florida’s all orange crop, at 154 million boxes. The all Florida grapefruit crop is forecast at just over 20 million boxes for white and colored varieties. Listen to the broadcast and read the results.
