“The 2012 Citrus Expo seminar program promises to be the best in Expo’s history with more grower input than ever before,” says seminar coordinator and UF/IFAS Extension specialist Tim Spann. “This year’s program will include an economics session in which researchers, growers and regulators will present information on harvesting and labor costs, the economics of mechanical harvesting and abscission, and the outlook for fruit prices based on production and consumption dynamics.” Growers should preregister for Citrus Expo to be eligible to win the John Deere gun safe from Everglades Farm Equipment.
