This past week was celebrated as National Volunteer week by USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama. During which two young ladies, Bertie Weitzel, 86 and Inez Whiddon, 77, were honored for their efforts as Earth Team volunteers, proving that age is not a factor.
