U.S. orange juice futures surged to their highest levels in decades Tuesday on news reports that the Food and Drug Administration told orange juice manufacturers that it would step up testing for a fungicide that was apparently detected at low levels in some orange juice. The fungicide is used in Brazil but is not authorized for use in the United States. Roger Corrado, an independent IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) futures trader in New York, discusses the OJ futures surge.
