Citrus Committee Narrowly Nominates Ackerman as FDOC Chief

A split Florida Citrus Commission search committee Friday narrowly nominated Publix Super Markets category marketing manager Douglas Ackerman of Bartow to be the next executive director of the Florida Department of Citrus. His nomination will be considered by the full Citrus Commission Wednesday, Dec. 21. The details are in this report.
