According to University of Florida’s senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources Jack Payne, yesterday a ceremony was held to dedicate the IFAS Administration Conference Room in McCarty Hall to the memory of Pat Cockrell who spent many years with Florida Farm Bureau. Payne noted that Pat was very important to the men and women of IFAS and it was a great privilege to have had this opportunity.
Those attending the dedication included Pat’s wife, Janice, his two sons, Will and Jason along with John Hoblick, President of the Florida Farm Bureau, and the FFB Board of Directors.
