Citrus Growers Putnam and Story React to Orange Crop Forecast

Citrus grower Adam Putnam, who is also Florida’s agriculture commissioner, and Polk County grower Vic Story react to the USDA forecast of 147 million boxes of Florida oranges, which is a 5 percent increase over last season’s production.

Alico, Inc., which completed its last major citrus harvest this year, announced results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
