The EPA, which is reviewing a request for an Experimental Use Permit for the abscission chemical CMNP, will not be able to grant the request by July, as the Florida citrus industry had hoped. AgroSource President Taw Richardson in this report says a new date for a possible decision has not been set by EPA. AgroSource is leading industry efforts to register CMNP, which should greatly aid mechanical harvesting efforts.
