Precision farming allows for the use of GPS systems to apply nutrients and pesticides to landscapes, making it economical for farmers and environmentally friendly. The 2011 funding deadline for the Precision Farming Incentive is April 29, 2011. For more information and to check county eligibility visit the AL NRCS website.
